You dance for the mirror,
laughing at the
reflection that is purely you.
I breathe in the scent
wafting
off your clothes.
Days pass, happy days.
We are ourselves, together.
Like children, we believe
that it will last forever.
But like all things, the good must end.
First the fight, now the tears.
Where did those happy days go?
Why did you storm out,
like you have somewhere else to go?
I miss you tonight.
I read your note
taped to the door.
So sorrowful, so lovelorn.
Though it's over,
I know you will remain purely you
in the mirror, always.

Ok, so I edited it, and I'd like to know what you think of it now. I added a whole bunch, but it needed it. It was kind of weak, so I propped it up. I think though, that I made it better.

you are coming right along. richer, deeper, insightful, more....something. cant quite put my finger on it but its a good thing. something has changed within you. shifted a bit to make things less awkward. hang onto it . it shows in your art and in your words. perhaps its just a bit of confidence you decided to try on...make it part of your wardrobe sugar, you look lovely in it.
